“The sports side of Kickboxing, promoting sportsmanship and skill”

We would like to extend an invitation to you and your school to participate in the annual Sport Kickboxing Championship, to be held at Kwantlen University College Gym, 12666 72nd Ave, Surrey B.C., on May 3, 2008.
The Sport Kickboxing Federation has invited competitors from all over British Columbia, thereby giving local competitors an excellent opportunity to test and measure their skills against a vast range of martial artists. The “SKF Championship 14” promises to bring the martial arts community closer together and open a new prospect for competitors to grow and take their skills to new heights.

You will find our tournaments are fun and exciting competitions that feature children’s participation in point sparring, light contact categories and adult participation in light, semi-contact and full-contact categories. The day will showcase forms, weapons, SKF ground fighting, face contact and no face semi-contact matches and continuous point fighting in a safe and controlled environment. There will be high-jump kick competitions, awards ceremonies and demonstrations and draws for great prizes including memberships and equipment.
We look forward to your participation and seeing you compete at the “SKF Championship 14”. This Martial Arts Championship is open to all styles. All may compete in all sparring categories, in addition to Form categories for hard and soft style forms, both traditional and creative.
